STORY

I never thought I would become an author. I'd always loved books, of course. As a lonely child, books were like friends to me. However, when I became a mother, something shifted inside me. I found myself struggling with depression, and life was becoming more and more difficult to hang on to. As much as I loved my family, it was the gentle, loving call of the Savior that kept me going. In that dark place, he met me and flooded me with light on one side, while darkness constantly threatened to consume me on the other. I received a precious gift in this mess, the gift of Story.​

Scenes and ideas filled my mind until I couldn’t help but write them down. Soon, I had Loved by the Beast on my computer screen. But, it didn’t stop there. It flowed into two additional stories within the same world. Through these stories, I connected with the greatest Storyteller of all time, and I started to gain hope. I also discovered how to speak life into others through my words. So, in time, BraveHeart Publications was born. My hope is to point people to the lover of their souls and to let those walking through dark times know they are not alone.
